Myth 1: “You can only use a fuel card to fill up.”
Fact: Modern fuel cards like the AUSTROCARD can do much more than that.
This also applies to the AUSTROCARD. You can also use the AUSTROCARD to pay for car washes, ASFINAG tolls, lubricants & AdBlue, and automotive accessories. However, this requires that the purchase authorizations for these items have been activated. If you’re not sure, it’s best to check with your fleet manager or look directly in your own AUSTROCARD account.
Myth 2: “Fuel cards are only worthwhile for large fleets.”
