The AUSTROCARD isn't working. What now?
You have just filled up your car or charged it, and when paying at the gas station, you notice that the payment process with the AUSTROCARD has not worked.
Our tips & tricks:
Check your AUSTROCARD for damage. Important: Do not bend, scratch, or leave the card in a hot car. Clean the magnetic strip and try the payment process again. Make sure you are using the correct PIN code. If you cannot remember your PIN code, contact our top customer service team.
If the payment still does not work, it could be because your receipt contains items that cannot be paid for with the AUSTROCARD. Various payment rights can be stored on the AUSTROCARD. For example, it could be that your fuel card can only be used to fill up with fuel. You can find out what restrictions apply to your AUSTROCARD either from our dedicated AUSTROCARD team or from your fleet manager.
AdBlue, ASFINAG & Co
Yes, the AUSTROCARD can also be used for car washes, lubricants, antifreeze, AdBlue, ASFINAG tolls, adhesive vignettes, and digital vignettes (only available for purchase at gas stations). Purchases of other merchandise such as beverages, food, tobacco products, etc. are not permitted.
